5000 people invited to attend Restoration Christian Church.

This December 5000 people will receive a postcard invitation to attend Restoration Christian Church in French Lick, Indiana thanks to your generosity.  If just 1% of those who receive this card attend, there will be 50 guests who checkout Restoration Christian church.  Please pray that God blesses this effort to share the Good New of Jesus with this community.

I am thankful for your support.

November is a time to give thanks.  I am thankful to God for you and your continued support of our efforts to plant new churches.

Exciting things are happening right now thanks to your efforts.

First, Christ’s Church is reaching new people for Christ and as of the 2012 budget will be totally self-supporting.   It was exciting to see 20 members of our church feed the homeless and pass out gloves, hats, socks and sleeping bags to 50 homeless people in Indianapolis the weekend after thanksgiving.  Also our church helped fee 2740 needy families meals in November.  God love is being shown to the poor thanks to a church which you helped start.  Continue to pray for us because our big need in 2012 is a new location to hold our Sunday services.

Secondly, Restoration Christian Church launched in French Lick, IN last month and is growing and reaching new people for Christ. We will be funding a direct mailing for them in December and supplying them with a new video projector.  Keep them in your prayers.

Third , we are starting to do training and give advise to our 3rd church planter.  Please be in prayer for God to provide us the funds and means to train, equip and inspire believers to plant new churches.  The need is great and the workers are few.

You are helping change lives. Thank you!

Your prayers matter to us.

I want to praise God for doing great things in the month of October.   We have seen several new guests at church and a real growth in our student ministry. But most exciting of all, on October 14th I was able to baptize my son, Drake into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and gift of the Holy Spirit.  Go to our website to see a video of his baptism. Christ’s Church is reaching young people for Christ, including my own son. Thank you for helping make this church possible!

Restoration Christian Church launched in French Lick, IN this month and had over 70 on their very first Sunday!  Praise God.  You helped make that possible.

I have had some more great opportunities to teach God’s word.  Several times a year I am able to drive up and teach at Summit Theological Seminary.  I also have purchased some final items for my recording equipment so I can start recording sermons each week for a radio program I have the opportunity to produce.   Please pray for me as Christ’s Church and I branch out in this new way to reach the community and the world with the good news of salvation in Christ Jesus.

We want to lead people to know, grow and show, here in Franklin, in Indiana, the United States and beyond.  Pray for me to be more organized and a better manager of my time.  Pray God will raise up workers to help.

You are helping change lives. Thank you!

Amazing Summer of 2011

Preaching at Men's Gold Rush
in Eureka, CO

Dear Frontier Supporter,
What an amazing summer.  In a month have visited 10 states, preached 19 times, and traveled over 4500 miles on my motorcycle.  This resulted in over 20 rededication's, 6 baptisms, and hundreds of people strengthened in the Word of God.  I also used this opportunity to raise awareness and support for new church planting.
This summer I also trained four new teachers at Christ’s church.  While I was out of town on August 7th, they shared the preaching duties and “tag team” preached on the importance of faith in the Gospel. Two of these young men are leaving for Bible College in two days. The other two will be giving communion meditations and helping teach others.  God is at work through our new church to inspire teens and raise up future leaders.
Equally exciting, Frontier Ministry Group has been able to invest this year in the training for Wade Allan for the new church he is planting in French Lick, IN called RESTORATION CHRISTIAN CHURH. We will also be financially supporting them by providing them with a new sound system and video projection equipment. Your gifts are now helping multiple new churches reach out with the gospel of Christ. If you would like to learn more about Wade and the new work in French Lick please visit www.rccfl.blogspot.com  Their core group had a preview service before their big launch in October and already had 44 in attendance. Keep them in your prayers.
Please keep Christ’s Church in your prayers. Pray for God to open doors of opportunity for us to share the good news with our community.  Thank you for your continued support.
Grace & Peace,
Kendall Faull

What was Jesus most effective method of ministering?

Dear Frontier Supporter,
What can you do to leave the greatest lasting positive impact on this world for the cause of Jesus Christ?  You don’t have to be a dynamic public speaker or preach and teach before thousands to make a difference.  Yes, Jesus preached before thousands but that is not what started the church and turned the world upside down. The church was not started by the thousands who followed Jesus for awhile but then turned against Him when His preaching wasn’t what they wanted to hear anymore.  Preaching to great multitudes has it’s value but it’s not the thing of greatest impact.
Jesus started the church with a dozen faithful disciples whom he personally trained for 3 years. It was not a large group who he spent little time with but a small group whom he invested many hours in that made the lasting impact.  The success of a ministry is more determined by how many souls you replicate the one true faith in rather than how many hundreds of spectators you can draw in for a weekly entertainment program.
All this summer, I am meeting for several hours a week with several young men from Christ’s Church, training them to do ministry.  We will divide our time over the summer covering three topics. #1 How to study the Bible correctly.  #2 How to write a lesson and #3 How to effectively communicate Biblical truth.
These young men will be equipped with basic skills to study God’s word and share it.  By the end of the summer, they will have the opportunity to do communion meditations, lead Grow Groups or even preach a sermon.  Paul said in 2 Timothy 2:22 “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”
You may not have the gift of teaching or be a great public speaker. But you can pass on your faith to a small circle of friends so they can do the same. That is where Jesus had the greatest impact in his ministry.  Your financial support is helping me and others plant new churches to pass on the one true Faith to the next generation of leaders. Thank you!

New Opportunity to help a Church Plant.

Wade Allen Baptizing First
Convert in French Lick.
The mission of Frontier Ministry Group is to train church planters, equip church planting teams and inspire established churches to plant new churches.  It has never been our goal to plant churches all by ourselves but rather as a “group” with others help train, equip and inspire churches to plant new churches.
Our newest opportunity is to help a very talented preacher named Wade Allen.  He and his team are planting a new congregation called RESTORATION CHRISTIAN CHURCH in the resort town of French Lick, Indiana. Read more here:  http://rccfl.blogspot.com/
Frontier has committed to provide educational materials, training and prayer support to this gifted young preacher as he seeks to plant a new church after the New Testament pattern. He is presently raising money for support and already has one established congregation providing major support.  It’s exciting to see what God is doing as Wade and his team take this exciting step of faith.

Frontier Ministry Group is excited to play a small role in providing some material support and educational support to Wade and his team. This is just the kind of opportunity that I pray God will multiply in our future.  It NOT our desire to plant churches alone but to come along side teams of people who want to plant churches and help meet their various needs.
Your gifts are providing Wade with books, equipment, and training as he prepares for this plant. And as God continues to bless us, we hope to also be a small part of their regular support for the launch of this new work in French Lick.  Would you please pray for Wade and his team? Also pray God continues to richly bless us so we can partner with more preachers and more churches in the planting of new churches.

SHOW CHRIST

Dear Frontier Supporter,
Look what God is doing through your gifts for Christ’s Church in Franklin, Indiana.

Each year thousands of people flow through the emergency room at Johnson Memorial Hospital.  Each winter many are rushed in without warm clothes on. When it’s time to go home they don’t have hats, gloves, scarves or proper winter attire. So the hospital asks the community to donate hats gloves and scarves to give to people to wear home.  This is just the kind of small project we LOVE to do.
We believe that Jesus didn’t just talk about loving people but he showed it in acts of kindness toward the needy.  Imitating His love we feed the hungry, cloth the naked and visit those in prison. Sometimes that means giving gloves, hats and scarves in Jesus name. People don’t just hear of our love, they see it.
I am very encouraged by how each member of Christ Church take personally their responsibility to love their neighbors as themselves. We love in word and deed.
And so our Grow Group home Bible studies take on projects together. We have fed the homeless, made quilts for Nursing home residents, counseled pregnant teens,  witnessed to prisoners in the county jail and given school supplies to needy children.
Our mission at Christ’s Church is to lead people to KNOW Christ, GROW in Christ and SHOW Christ.  Showing Christ is much more than words, it’s action. Your gifts have supported the teaching of Scripture that have inspired these actions.  I am taking two large kitchen trash bags full of new hats, gloves and scarves donated by Christ’s Church members to the hospital today.
Thank you for your partnership in SHOWing Jesus to Johnson County!

Dear Frontier Supporter,

Look what God is doing through your gifts. This is Becky. When Danna & I first moved down to the Franklin area to start Christ’s Church we rented a house in Whiteland. Becky was our next store neighbor. After months of conversations over the backyard fence, Becky finally took us up on our invitation to visit Christ’s Church where she was welcomed by a loving group of believers.

Soon she was attending with her mother & boyfriend. Last fall when we launched our new set of grow groups, she joined the one for single ladies led by one of the widows in our church. Here she made friends, learned God’s word and was shown love. They led her to Christ.

After hearing the gospel preached, reading the Bible and seeing the love shown by the church, Becky knew Jesus had died on the cross for her and she needed to be baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I had the privilege of baptizing her on February 17th, 2011.

Our mission at Christ’s Church is to lead people to KNOW Christ, GROW in Christ and SHOW Christ. Becky is already SHOWing Jesus to others. She about has her mom convinced to be baptized too. Becky is but one example of the dozens of people being lead to KNOW, GROW or SHOW through your financial support.

Thank you for your partnership in leading Becky to Jesus!

Thank you for your support in 2010

Dear Supporter,
Thank you! Your steady financial support and prayers have been a blessing to so many. In 2010, your support ofFrontier Ministry Group has gone to fund the continued ministry of Christ’s Church in Franklin, Indiana.

As a result of your support hundreds have heard the gospel faithfully proclaimed, half a dozen were baptized into Christ, addicts have given up addictions, marriages have been strengthened, hurting hearts have been comforted, 60+people have received weekly home Bible study instruction, and countless hours of service were spent ministering to the poor, homeless, single mothers andthe aged. Also the teaching materials we have prepared for our grow groups are being utilized by churches and small groups throughout the country.

The mission statement of Christ’s Church is to lead people to know, grow and show Christ. This mission is being met thanks to your continued support. Attendance from visitors is up. We are reaching the lost. Just this past Sunday three individuals said they want to know more about being baptized. It’s an exciting start to 2011.
Please continue to keep the ministry in your prayers because we project within a few months of God’s continued blessing, Christ’s Church will have grown to be fully self-supporting. When this is the case, we will start working toward supporting a second Church plant. It has always been our goal to inspire churches to plant churches, train church planters and help fund church plants. We look forward to when Christ’s Church is a mother church, helping start a new congregation.

Your partnership with us in the work of God has already born eternal fruit. Thank you for helping us fulfill the great commission.

Grace & Peace,

Giving up, Spending down ... God blessed us in the midst of a recession.

The trustee's of Christ's Church met this week and reviewed the budget for 2010 and planned out the budget for 2011. God has blessed us in that our giving this year exceeded our projections by almost $5000 and our spending was less than what we had projected. Christ's Church has always met it's budget due to the generous giving of other churches and individuals. After almost two years, we are very close to being self supporting. With the addition of a few more families we hope to be self supporting in 2011 but this will be a challenge due to a 52% increase in our weekly rent at the Franklin Community High School.

When that day comes, God willing, we will immediately begin to redirect funds to another church plant. Our goal is to not just be a new church but be a new church that helps plant other new churches. Pray that God will continue to bless us and provide us the means to bless others.

Advance the Kingdom of Christ: Help plant new churches.

WHAT BRINGS JOY ACCORDING TO THE NEW TESTAMENT?

From my study on the fruitful life (Producing the Fruit of the Spirit)

Six things that in time will produce Joy.

1. Spirit
  • Gal. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
  • Rom. 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • 1Th. 1:6 You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.
  • Acts 14:17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”
  • Acts 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
  • Luke 10:21 At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
  • Heb. 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”

2. Scripture
  • Matt. 13:20 The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.
  • Mark 4:16 Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy.
  • Luke 8:13 Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.
  • Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
  • John 15:11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
  • John 17:13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.
  • 1John 1:4 We write this to make our joy complete.

3. Sacrifice
  • Matt. 13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
  • Heb. 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

4. Suffering
  • James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
  • Luke 6:22-23 “Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets.
  • 2Cor. 7:4 I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.
  • 2Cor. 8:2 Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.
  • Gal. 4:15 What has happened to all your joy? I can testify that, if you could have done so, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me.

5. Saints
  • Rom. 15:32 so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and together with you be refreshed.
  • Rom. 16:19 Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
  • 2Cor. 1:24 Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm.
  • 2Cor. 2:3 I wrote as I did so that when I came I should not be distressed by those who ought to make me rejoice. I had confidence in all of you, that you would all share my joy.
  • 2Cor. 7:7 and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever.
  • Phil. 1:4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy
  • Phil. 1:25-26 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.
  • Phil. 2:2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
  • Phil. 2:29 Welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor men like him,
  • Phil. 4:1 Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends!
  • 1Th. 2:19-20 For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy.
  • 1Th. 3:9 How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you?
  • 2Tim. 1:4 Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy.
  • Philem. 7 Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
  • Heb. 13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.
  • 2John 4 It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us.
  • 2John 12 I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.
  • 3John 3-4 It gave me great joy to have some brothers come and tell about your faithfulness to the truth and how you continue to walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

6. Salvation
  • 1Pet. 1:8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
  • Acts 2:28 You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.’
  • Matt. 28:8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.
  • Luke 1:14 He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth,
  • Luke 1:44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.
  • Luke 1:58 Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy.
  • Luke 10:17 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”
  • Luke 24:41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
  • Luke 24:52 Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
  • John 16:20-22 I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
  • John 16:24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
  • Acts 8:8 So there was great joy in that city.
  • Acts 16:34 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole family.
  • Jude 1:24 To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—

Teaching Kids To Give Back...

We encourage our grow groups at Christ's Church to do service projects. The kids grow group has taken on the project of collecting school supply donations to help needy kids in Johnson County. With the help of two of our teenagers who work with the elementary kids each week, they made this video. Looks like they had fun making it.

Your prayers and support are bearing fruit to the glory of God.

It was a special blessing for me to see 15 year old A.J. baptize his friend named Ian into Christ. A.J. has been working on Ian for a while. He brought him to church, took him to grow group and Ian gave his life to Jesus Christ. After talking with me about how to obey the Gospel at the coffee shop for a hour or so, Ian decided he was ready and asked A.J. to do the honors.

Christ's Church mission is to lead people to Know Christ, Grow in Christ and Show Christ. I am thankful to see A.J. and dozens of others doing just that.

Please keep Christ's Church and Frontier Ministry Group in your prayers. Without your prayers and support, we can't fulfill the mission God has given us. You are our partners in this important work.

The Foundational Truths of Our Faith.

Like a building, faith is only a solid as it's foundation.

But what are the foundational teachings of Christianity upon which the Christians should be unified? The Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 4: 4-8 “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit— just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

Join us at Christ's Church each Sunday this summer as we cover each week another foundational truth of Christianity. Every first time guest will receive a free book entitled THE CASE FOR CHRIST. Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM at Entrance #54 at Franklin Community High School.

Praise God for each success!

We showed this video at the beginning of Church on Sunday.

video

Donna and her husband Todd were looking for a church that not only taught the Bible but where they could serve. As they were driving down US 31 they saw a sign advertising the services held by Christ's Church each Sunday morning at the Franklin Community High School. So they checked it out. After attending Christ's Church for several weeks, they brought Donna's nephew Rich and his fiancee Emily to church with them. When we sat down and talked with Rich and Emily about their relationship with God, Rich discovered that he needed to be baptized to obey the gospel. He believed but had never made a personal commitment to Christ. It was our joy to baptize him last Friday night for the forgiveness of sins and gift of the Holy Spirit.

These lives changed by the gospel and the growth of our church are the result of God's blessing upon the prayers and support of people like you. THANK YOU! Together we are making an eternal difference in lives.

Spiritual Growth the Acts 2:42 Way.

Acts 2:32 says the early christians were devoted to the Apostles doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer. We see this played out in the book of Acts. How different that is from most churches today.

The average Christian today gets up and goes to church on Sunday morning. Sure they break bead in communion with people they don't really know, listen (maybe) to most of a sermon, listen to someone else pray a quick prayer, and say a quick hello to a few other members going in an out of church who they don't contact the rest of the week. Most believers are not living out Acts 2:42.

Frontier Ministry Group wants to help share a vision to inspire churches to plant churches that follow the Acts 2:32 method. That is why we have developed the TAKE THE 90 DAYS WITH JESUS program. It gives each person a 90 day devotional to create a devotion to the apostles doctrine. It provides lesson guides for small home Bible studies. And this week I am recording video lessons to go with those small group guides.

Keep me in your prayers as I try to create tools that will enhance devotion to apostles doctrine, fellowship, and prayer in small home Bible studies. We need to become ACTS 2:24 christians and that happens in homes during the week. We need to be devoted to doing things the ACTS way.

Seeds planted = another baptism.

We want to thank those who support Frontier Ministry Group in planting Christ's Church in Franklin, Indiana. Your partnership in this ministry through gifts and prayers are making a difference!

Meet Ashley. She is a young lady who has been attending since invited by a boyfriend last summer. She has been regularly attending on Sunday morning and involved in one of our weekly Grow Groups. After hearing sermons and lessons on the Gospel, she realized her need to be baptized to accept Jesus Christ and pledge her life to Him in good conscience.

Ashley came forward Sunday morning to confess her faith and say she wanted to be baptized into Christ. Satan may keep attacking, things may be difficult, circumstances may seem like a hinderance, but God is not hindered from winning souls. He can't be chained, held back or stopped.

Thank God for using our new church to continually reach more people for the kingdom of Christ.

Calibrate: Align your life with the teachings of Jesus Christ

When you tune a guitar or piano, you calibrate it with a tuner. When the strings are tuned the instrument can be used to produce music of all kinds. But first you must calibrate it to standard tuning. Our lives need calibrated too. This month at Christ's Church we will study in scripture how to pray, fast and meditate to align our lives with our creator.

I want to invite any of the supporters of Frontier Ministry Group to come visit us some Sunday for our Communion Service in Franklin, Indiana. We would love for you to see first hand what God is doing at Christ's Church.

Another Soul Won! Sunday January 3rd

Meet Austin Green. He started attending our "game night" parties last summer. He has been a regular at Christ Church events for several months and started thinking about becoming a Christian at our student retreat in October. We are thankful he has decided to obey the command to be baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and gift of the Holy Spirit.

Austin was baptized after church on Sunday January 3rd, 2010. His family and friend were there to witness his new birth into Christ.

As you can see the students who helped lead Austin to the Lord were there to celebrate afterward. This is one of the finest group of students I have ever been privileged to work with.

Thank you Frontier Ministry Group Supporters. Christ's Church would not exist or be able to continue in 2010 without your support. Keep us in your prayers!

Now you too can
TAKE THE 90 DAYS WITH JESUS CHALLENGE!

The 90 Days with Jesus devotional will take you through the four Gospels in 90 days. You'll read one gospel chapter per day, learn some insights from history and scripture, and then it asks you a few challenging questions that help you discover how Jesus teaching applies to your life. In a mere 20 minutes per day, the teaching of Jesus will come alive in a transformational way. Another nice aspect of this devotional is it gives you a pertinent verse from the books of Proverbs or Psalms that fit with chapter at the bottom. Reading the teaching and life of Jesus will change your life. This book is perfect for personal daily devotions or as a small group study guide. This great resource for developing a daily devotional life is now available for your church or small group.

Pray For Our Grow Groups.

Genesis means beginning. A builder does not build a house from the roof down but rather from the foundation up. Genesis is a foundational book of the Bible which explains our origins, the nature of God and man, and the cause of death and suffering. If we do not understand Genesis we will miss the beauty of the Gospel. We hope to understand what Genesis teaches about who we are?

Pray for us as we study our way through Genesis and lay the foundation for a solid Biblical faith. Many have been surprised at the new things we are learning about creation, Adam and Eve, and Noah and the great flood. Please pray that God will send more to us to faithfully teach the Word of God to.

SUMMER 2009 UPDATE:

Kendall Faull & Sam Bitts dig a trench for the new water line.

In June, myself along with 12 others from Christ's Church went on a wonderful mission trip to New Orleans to help rebuild homes of those afflicted by Hurricane Katrina. It was a great week of service and ministry. It's amazing how such hard work, selflessness, and service can be so fun and such a joy when done for the Lord. I also enjoyed riding my motorcycle down to New Orleans on the Natchez Trace Parkway. That will be a wonderful memory I will always cherish. Serving God is always great... serving God on a motorcycle is even better. :)

When you support Christ's Church, you are helping us help the homeless.

This Summer Christ's Church partnered with Christian Contender Ministries to do a Summer Food Service Program for children in need. Many children on reduced or free lunches don't get a good lunch all summer. The sad reality is that parents often go off to work leaving kids at home without proper meals. To meet the need for innocent children who can't help what their parents do, we provided a warm lunch Monday through Friday for children at the churches rented office space. We showed Veggie Tale Videos and Bible stories and provided a free meal each week day. Next summer with better promotion, we believe it will be an even greater success. Here is a email I received from one of our volunteers for the program. As you can see, we are showing the grace of Jesus to those in need. Feeding hungry kids is pure religion.

Kendall - Had to stop and send you a quick e-mail, today at 12:45pm we decided to clean up and put the food away. We only had 2 show up for lunch and that was at 12:00 noon. They left at 12:15 and we twiddled our thumbs for 30 mins. So we cleaned up and at 12:50pm we had a family of 15, man wife and 13 children from 1 mo through 17 years old. Yes, TaNay, Melissa, Bryce and myself got some food out and cook them all a meal. They are from KY, sold their home this year and came to Franklin for work. The work has dried up and they are stuck in Franklin. They are living at the Johnson County Park, and she delivered the baby at home in the trailer. We invited them back tomorrow for pizza, I wish you could have seen their children's eyes when they heard what was for lunch tomorrow. They ARE coming back tomorrow! -Joe
When you support Christ's Church, you support us as we feed the hungry.

Kendall baptizing a student at Hillsboro Family Camp

Also this summer, my family and I were able to once again attend Hillsboro Family Camp. I had the privilege and honor of speaking Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Night for the teens and Wednesday Night and Thursday Morning for the adults. There were 20 decisions made for Christ in the youth program alone. I personally witnessed 5 baptisms from the youth program and had the privilege of performing two of them (see picture above). I know others were baptized later that week or back at their home congregations. God really blessed our efforts. When you support Christ's Church, you are helping us to proclaim the gospel to the lost and encourage the saved.

This month, we will be launching new Grow Groups to study the book of Genesis. Please keep us in your prayers. All summer long our attendance at Christ's Church was down. We are getting new visitors regularly but summer has taken its toll. Attendance should go back up some with summer being over. Pray that we can faithfully preach the word and that God would send more laborers for the plentiful harvest. Pray we can fulfill God's will in our lives. Church planting is never easy and we need God's help. A big thank you to all of those who are helping us stay afloat financially. May God himself bless you for your generosity. Together, with God's help, something good is bound to happen.

You prayers and support bring this......

video

Jason and Amanda wanted to go to church but they didn't know where to go. So they prayed about it. The next day they received an answer to their prayers when the got a flier from Christ's Church in the mail. The came the very next Sunday. They have been coming ever since.

From the sermons they realize they needed to learn more about baptism so they checked on the communication card in their bulletin that they would like to know more. After meeting with me last Wednesday night, they both realized they needed to be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and gift of the Holy Spirit like it says in Acts 2:38. They wanted to pledge their lives to God.

This would be impossible without your support and prayers.  THANK YOU!

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Take A Moment To Pray...

We are teaching some new prospects and hope to see some baptisms real soon. We started a new study through the book of Acts call THE WAY.  We launched our second round of grow groups.  But satan is always attacking and trying to discourage us.

Please take a moment to pray each day for Frontier Ministry Group and our first Church plant. We need your prayers for God's grace and blessing on our efforts. Please take a moment right now and lift us up to the Father.

Thank you.

Why Don't More Churches plant a church?

Remember this rhyme from when you were a kid? "Here's the church and heres the steeple and inside are all the people!" Kids would say this as they made a building and steeple with their hands and then flipped their hands over and wiggled their fingers for the people.

Only one problem: THE BUILDING IS NOT THE CHURCH THE PEOPLE ARE THE CHURCH.

It's been shown in multiple studies that church planting is the best bang for the buck when it comes to evangelism. Newer churches grow faster on average than older churches.  So when a church has maxed out it's space, why not plant a new church rather than build a bigger building?

We would win more souls per dollar church planting than building buildings.  Yet, I see more churches building bigger buildings than I see churches planting churches. Why?

How is it churches have capital campaigns to raise millions for buildings but when was the last time you saw a giving campaign to raise millions for church planting and evangelism?

I notice people will give to make "their" building bigger and nicer.  But why will they not give to make the Kingdom of God bigger with a new church.

Do they have pride that wants to brag about their building?  Is it selfishness that wants to have the most comfortable facility?  Is it preachers trying to build up a name for themselves by having a large church and don't want people, money and resources going to a new plant? Is it a lack of focus on winning the lost?  Is it that the church thinks more about its self than the outsiders who need to find Christ and escape Hell?

Is it that we focus on the physical not the spiritual? Are we today like the Jews in Jesus day who wanted him to be a physical king over a physical kingdom, rather than allowing the kingdom of God to be in the hearts of men?  Does our giving today go to building the kingdom in the hearts of men or does most of it go to buildings?

Who knows?  For some reason churches are building bigger buildings with gyms, play grounds, coffee shops, book stores, pre-schools, theater seating, huge screens, projectors and awesome sound systems.  But are we really changing the world? Are more Americans going to church now than 50 years ago since we have bigger buildings with gyms or are less going? Are we winning the lost like they did in the first century?

How did those uneducated disciples do it without building huge buildings?

What could we do if we just allocated our resources on sending out preachers and starting new churches rather than building massive costly buildings? I wonder.

I do know this: I know 4 preachers right now (Godly men, sound in doctrine, soul winners) who would plant a church right now if they had the financial support and funding of a mother church. But most churches don't have a dime to spare nor do they even think about starting another congregation?  I wonder why? Where is their money going?

If only every church would help plant a church.  We could start a revival in the hearts of men.

Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition.

video

Thank you, thank you, thank you to our supporters!  You are helping to make an eternal difference in people's lives.  God is taking your gifts and prayers and using them for His work.

If you are not a supporter of Frontier Ministry Group, I challenge you or your church to become financial and prayer supporters. We need your help. God is doing good things through Christ's Church but I know we can do more with more help. You can play a role in helping us hire a 2nd full time minister and reach more people for Christ.

If we could raise the money, we could plant a 2nd church. Has God provided you with the means to help financially in starting new churches?  We are praying for God to lead many people to help support this important work.

The more farmers we have, the more seeds we can plant. The more seeds we can plant, the more harvest we can produce. Pray that God will provide the means for us to support more workers for the harvest of souls.

Matthew 9:37-38 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

Pray For Kendall & Danna's Housing

Foxes have their holes, the birds have their nests, but the son of George has no place to lay his head.  :)

Please pray for myself and my wife. Just two weeks after moving into the home we are now renting, we found  some previously unknown problems with the house that make it unsafe to live in without major renovation. So just now that we got settled in, we have to move out immediately and place all our things in storage and wait a month or more for the home to be refurbished before we can move back in.

In the mean time, we are not sure where we will live the next month. This week my wife and kids are at the home of Danna's mom and dad while I am in Hillsboro, Ohio teaching at the preacher camp. We need to find a short term solution asap.

It's an exhausting thought once you have moved  all your stuff to realize you have to do it again two more times in next month. It's also not exciting to face the prospect of living with someone for a month and being a burden to them. Pray for us to have patience.

We have had an offer for us stay at a person's home for a month but hate to impose on people for whole month and also it's about 20 minutes away from the church. Ben Franklin said house guests are like fish, they stink after three days. We don't want to be a burden and also I don't want to put my family in an awkward situation. Moving is hard enough for kids but this added stress makes it difficult for kids to adjust.

Please pray for us to find the place or means to stay some where closer to the church and the people we desire to minister too while the rental house is renovated. Also pray we find a cheap storage facility to store our things for month. Our renters insurance will not cover their displacement.

Also please pray that this does not distract me too much from the work of the church and the evangelistic work that needs done. I presently have 3 more people who want to talk with me about being baptized and this is a frustrating distraction from my urgent work.

Pray for me to keep my priorities straight and for God to bring good out of this annoying situation.  I am trying to keep this in perspective. Real problems are when you lose a loved one in death, or are jailed for your faith, or face a serious illness. My problems are small compared to others.

I praise God for my wife Danna who has had an incredibly good attitude through this difficult move. Many wives would not handle all we have been through with such grace and poise. She faithfully supports my ministry and does not complain about all the difficulty we have faced in selling our house, moving and getting settled. May God bless her for her faithfulness, patience, and support.

Please join us in our prayers for God to help us move forward at Christ's Church despite the distractions.  We need your prayers.

Grace & Peace,
Kendall

Another Soul Saved Because Of What God Is Doing At Christ's Church!

video

Hey Everyone!

Look how your prayers and financial gifts are paying off!

Above is the video we showed at Christ's Church on Sunday Morning April 19th, 2009. Courtney was led to Christ by her husband, Chad. He was baptized just a few weeks before. Please join us in praising God for the good things he is doing. God is moving among us.

But not only is God moving among us, Kendall & Danna are moving from Greentown to Johnson County.... Finally!!! Praise God for the kindness of Pat Stewart who is letting us rent her house for a while while we prayerfully consider a long term housing solution.

Pray for us as we get moved and settled. Pray also for the needs of Christ's Church. We had dozens of visitors on Resurrection Sunday and hope to follow up with them. Pray I find the time. There is much to do between Frontier, Christ's Church and moving my family.

This week I talked with a young family who has come the past three weeks. He and his wife and been praying for God to guide them to a church to attend in the area. THE VERY NEXT DAY, THEY RECIEVED AN INVITATION TO ATTEND CHRIST'S CHURCH. Praise God for his providential guidance in allowing us to invite this family at the right moment.  When we focus on God's mission and align ourselves with his purpose, he uses us to answer people's prayers. What an honor to be apart of his plan.

Would you like to be a part of an effort to plant churches after the New Testament pattern? Please consider giving $100 a month to Frontier Ministry Group and please pray for us.

Grace & Peace,

Kendall
